On the way to the final round !

A few weeks after the MotoGP, it is the European Classic Series that is preparing to take possession of Motorland Aragon, not far from Zaragoza, in the north of Spain. Fourth and final round of this endurance championship reserved for classic motorcycles, this appointment promises to be thrilling in more ways than one ...

On a sports level first, with a very open championship in different categories. The battle is particularly raging in the flagship category, the Maxi Classic. The first three (Team Taurus, Neate Racing and Sweatshop Phase One # 4) are only separated by 8 points, and there are 25 points left for the winner of this final! The same goes for the Legend and the Classic 1000, where the Belgian team Vulcanet Daems Classic, currently 8th, can mathematically still win despite their two drops in Donington and Imola! But the title will more than likely go to one of the current top three teams (Scuderia Officine Toscane, Classic Boxer Endurance or Van Dijk Laverda), separated by only four small points ...

So far, the 2017 season has been marked by numerous theatrical moments and some twists and turns. The drop-outs have followed one another and some top teams will be keen to finish the year on a positive note. This is particularly the case of Team Force, still among the fastest, but often unlucky. Grégory Fastré and Bruno Le Bihan will have only one objective: the victory, even if this means spoiling the title ...

Among the thirty teams involved in this Spanish final, the British Team Classic Suzuki will welcome a big name in motorcycle land: Guy Martin. After having tasted the European Classic Series on the occasion of the Belgian round at Spa-Francorchamps, the British megastar will once again participate aboard a magnificent Suzuki Katana 1100. After announcing his withdrawal of the competition this summer, the young retired motorcycle racer has not yet stored his helmet and leathers, and will come to Aragon, mostly for fun, but with no intention of playing a mediocre role.
